Q: How much does all of this cost?
A: We offer 3 website Plans: Advanced - $20/mo, Custom - $35/mo or Signature - $50/mo! And you can try the Signature - $50/mo site for 7 days with no charge by visiting www.DistributorDemo.com

Q: Is there a Contract involved?
A: TLN introduced the industry’s first month-to-month service plan. No contracts or annual commitments required, and you can cancel your website at any time without further financial commitment.

Q: How long does it take to build my website?
A: Within 1 business day we will build your website and post it online in a temporary url domain (example, YourCompanyName.mydistributorwebsite.com). This will allow you to customize your website prior to launching it with customers.

Q: Who and where will my website be hosted?
A: Your website can be hosted where it is now, or we can host it for you. For $10/mo we provide all 3 hosting services: Domain, eMail and FTP Server. If you already have a homepage and would like to continue directing your clients to that, linking to your new website is no problem. Just let us know if you need any help with that.

Q: Do you provide a website domain name or can I use my own?
A: The answer is both! We provide a domain name when we build your website. You then can transfer this site to any domain url you own. For Custom and Signature websites we even buy a new domain in your name if desired. The process is very simple and our staff will assist you.

Q: Can I put your website inside my own frame?
A: Yes, we even provide a simple web design specifically for iFrames. Please contact your TLN representative for assistance.

Q: Do you offer email service?
A: Yes of course! We provide server hosting at $10/mo that includes emails, domain and FTP. Up to 25 email accounts included. FTP server allows you to upload images and PDF’s that you wish to add to your website.

Q: How many Suppliers are on your website?
A: TLN selects the very best product images from leading Suppliers to anchor our database. Any Supplier can add their products at no cost. For 2009, TLN has 400 Suppliers available, for a complete list click here: Supplier List

Q: Do Suppliers pay TLN for display positioning?
A: TLN does not accept money for product placement. All Suppliers are invited to add their products to our system. If Suppliers do not have the time or staff, TLN does offer a service to upload products for them, but products are positioned by low-to-high pricing or by each Distributor in their Admin. For Custom and Signature websites, you the Distributor establish the positioning of which Suppliers appears first in product searches.

Q: Can I decide which Suppliers and/or products appear first in my website categories?
A: Yes you can if you subscribe to either our Custom or Signature websites. You can place your preferred suppliers at the top of all product searches! If you prefer not to rank the suppliers on your website, our system automatically posts products from low-to-high price.

Q: Can I add my own products and preferred Suppliers?
A: Absolutely! We provide a “public” database from 400 Suppliers for you to select from. We also provide our Custom and Signature website users a “private” area to add their own products onto their website. Important to note that private product databases are not shared with any other TLN customers.

Q: How do we find out who is the Supplier for products on your website?
A: TLN websites use a proprietary TLN Item # on all products in our websites. You and your sales people can login on your website and see the Supplier Name, Supplier Item # and the Price Codes. At no time can your customers see this confidential information.

Q: Can I link other product search engines to my website?
A: Yes of course! Our websites include a navigation button for “More Products”. The core website products in your website are LOGO empowered, which simply means that our MDW products are “Blank” and ready to instantly display each customer’s Logo when they login to your website.

Q: Can I change product prices?
A: Yes you have 4 pricing options. The default price on websites is the retail published suppliers' multi-tiered catalog pricing. In your Admin you can change your website prices to be first column only pricing, last column only pricing, or no pricing displayed.

Q: Does the website come with a Shopping Cart?
A: All websites include a shopping cart as well as request for sample forms. Once submitted an email is generated and sent to you with the following information: Supplier Name, Supplier item #, selected color, and requested quantity. A confirmation email is sent also to the customer but without the Supplier confidential information.

Q: Can I accept credit cards within my website?
A: Yes, our shopping cart is merchant ready and all you need to do is work with your own bank and online processor. In addition, we provide in our Admin the tool to add the credit card merchants your site will accept and post those cards directly on your website.

Q: Can I build and send Sales Presentations from my website?
A: Sales Presentation is one of our most popular features on our websites. With our proprietary LOGO emPower software you can create fantastic Spec Samples in seconds. Then deliver a professional Sales Presentation in your choice of background graphics to your clients.

Q: What other Features come with the website?
A: We start with a monthly Newsletter service for you to deliver to your customers. We do all the work, you simply decide who and when the Newsletter is delivered. Signature websites newsletters actually display the customer’s log on the products within the newsletter. ROI Calculator, Event Planner, and Awards Program. For Signature websites we also include a Video Spokes Model to welcome customers and prospects to your website.
